Somewhere along the way, we were told babies should sleep through the night by 12 weeks, follow a military-grade routine, and if they don’t? Well, congrats - you’ve failed.

You’re either told to sleep train with a stopwatch, or just “wait it out” and lose your mind.

But no one was saying:
“Let’s meet in the middle - with sleep support that’s science-backed, baby-led, and actually helpful.”

That’s where The Tribe was born.

Because sleep isn’t just about wake windows and perfect routines.
It’s about the messy, beautiful reality of raising a tiny human — and still looking after yourself.

Inside The Tribe:

  • Sleep regressions are normalised
  • You get real-time support
  • Parents feel empowered, not gaslit
  • And no one’s left to figure it all out at 2am while rage-eating toast

This is the middle ground.
Come as you are. Let’s figure it out together.

Who’s this for?

For the tired, overwhelmed, slightly ragey parent who's been deep in those mum groups where someone swears you have to sleep train at 4 months or your baby will “never” sleep again.

Or maybe you’ve been hit with that unsolicited gem:
“Don’t ever contact nap - you’ll be stuck there forever, and your baby will never sleep in a cot, and oh, you’re definitely creating a rod for your own back.”
Sound familiar?

If your head’s spinning from all the conflicting advice and you just want someone to tell you what’s actually helpful - without judgement, fear, or fluffy nonsense - you’re in the right place.

This is sleep support with no BS.
It’s science-backed, evidence-based, nurturing, and actually mindful of your parenting style - not someone else’s agenda.

You bring the baby. I’ll bring the calm.

Simply amazing.

As a pediatric nurse practitioner myself, I had exhausted every “classic” fix to poor sleep, including sleep training. Despite this, our sweet son continued to struggle with short naps and early morning wakings, and it was taking a toll on all of us. Within days of working with Sandy, I was having to wake our son from naps, and we are now sleeping past his desired wake time. He is happier, we are happier and I cannot thank Sandy enough for all she has done for our family. She was always readily available for questions, and gave a very detailed written summary of her assessment and recommendations. I undoubtedly will recommend her to friends, neighbors and patients!

Caitlin Giesen

Hi, I’m Sandy.

From very early on, I’ve always been a bit of a free spirit. I ran away from home a few times (just to see what the world had to offer, not because my parents were awful!) and once made friends with a homeless man who lived in the woods. My mum was thrilled about that one.

I grew up in Vienna, Austria, but since then I’ve lived in three different countries, and during my 17 years in London, I moved house 11 times. My mum says I’ve got ants in my pants; sitting still has never really been my thing.

I’ve recently settled in Glasgow, Scotland…though, true to form, I’m already planning the next move, this time to the Scottish Highlands with my partner.

My years in London really shaped me, both as a person and as a sleep coach. When you first qualify as a sleep consultant, the training is mainly theory. But after 22 years (and counting) of working hands-on as a nanny and maternity nurse, I’ve had the privilege of supporting hundreds of families through every kind of sleep struggle. Those real-life experiences taught me things no textbook ever could, and they’ve helped me develop the creativity, empathy, and “think outside the box” problem-solving that’s so essential when working with little ones.

I’ve worked with families in every shape and form, single parents, same-gender couples, first-time parents, and those juggling newborns with toddlers. I’ve supported families through the return-to-work transition (when sleep often unravels), travelled with them across countries, and kept sleep routines going even on long car journeys, like one very memorable four-hour drive from Venice to Florence, wedged between suitcases and a baby seat, sound machine in one hand, “Goodnight Sleep Tight” memorised by heart.

During my nannying years, I often worked alongside sleep consultants who used “cry it out” methods, and I saw firsthand how those approaches affected babies and parents alike. That experience pushed me to look for a gentler, evidence-based way to help families find rest.

That’s what led me to qualify as a Holistic Sleep Coach, completing the OCN Level 6 training, the gold standard in sleep education. It opened my eyes to how much more there is to sleep than just…sleep. Temperament, iron levels, tongue ties, allergies, so many factors play a role and are often overlooked by traditional methods.

My approach is non-judgemental, down-to-earth, and completely tailored to you. I’m here to meet you where you are, no pressure, no guilt, just practical, science-backed strategies that fit your family’s values.

Helping families solve their child’s sleep challenges step-by-step is what I love most. It's like a puzzle to me, and solving it, scratches and itch. Because when everyone’s sleeping better, life feels lighter, calmer, and a whole lot more enjoyable.

If you’re ready to make some changes and feel like my approach resonates with you, I’d love to hear from you.
